Our Story

Singh Street Cha is a family-run business rooted in South Asian heritage. Our mission is simple: to bring people together through food, drink and design that nourishes the soul.

A cozy waiting area with two beige armchairs, a wooden coffee table, and two small red stools. A tall potted plant is next to the chairs. Pendant lights hang from the ceiling, and large windows let in natural light.

WHERE IT STARTED

Founded by Edinburgh couple Harjinder and Anna Atwal, Singh Street Cha was inspired by generations of cha culture.

We set out to recreate the bold flavours and atmosphere of traditional street cha, focusing on what matters most: fresh spices, strong tea and the perfect balance of warmth and sweetness.

Our welcoming, design-led neighbourhood cafés became spaces where people could slow down, connect and enjoy cha the way it’s meant to be.

BEYOND THE CAFÉS

As our community grew, so did the demand for cha beyond our cafés. We began crafting our own blends using the same ingredients and flavour profiles served in store.

Today, Singh Street Cha blends are enjoyed in homes across the country, because great cha shouldn’t be limited to cafés.
